Habitat for Humanity is an ecumenical Christian housing ministry which forms partnerships with volunteers who share the vision of eliminating poverty housing worldwide.
The Mid-Yellowstone Valley affiliate was established in September 1992 and completed its first house exactly one year later. Efforts to continue building provide challenge, opportunity and blessing for individuals and groups who participate.
The average cost to build a Habitat house locally is approximately $75,000, plus the cost of the land. As the Mid-Yellowstone Valley affiliate plans for further construction, there are four areas of critical need:
